'Will you miss me when I go overseas to study?' Ankita: ‘I’m following you.’ 'Really!' 'urr yeah, where are you going again?' 'Hopefully the UK or US' 'Definitely following.'
I can’t wait for my own place in another land. (hopefully UK!) Cook, decorate, even clean, with a few great friends and boyfriend, maybe even the younger sister. I’ll get homesick for sure, but its going to be brilliant.
I had a good day. It had its bad, almost sickening moments (some places in Singapore need better signage systems) but because it was with buttock face (photo above) it was fun. I can’t remember the last time we went out for an entire day together unplanned, and then left a guitar at Accessorize. Yep, we left it there and merrily walked to citylink, only for her to realise after about ten minutes and then running back. Singapore is amazingly-safe, it waited patiently leaning on a shelf, near-camouflaged and untouched. I think the shopping bug has bitten me, at the worst time. No allowance, no work, and projects to fund, my savings are facing a crisis.
I couldn’t sleep for hours because your snoring was incredibly thunderous, but it’s very endearing. Still I had to sleep, so I put on some Disney background music and finally slipped in slumber. We shifted quite a bit during the night, bolster or not, blankets for you but not me. However we were, it was bliss to be by your side, arm resting on my shoulder, a kiss goodnight in my forehead. :)
Tonight I had my usual ‘I am twenty but I have and am and can do nothing’ crisis complete with loud frustration and tears and despair.
And so Deon, after a whole day’s training, who has a bad cough and sore throat, talked and comforted and convinced and listened for two hours on the phone, pulling me up again verbally and keeping me grounded.
'One day you will be successful. I know it. I really really believe it.
I love you. Who cares if you can’t do anything? I love you as a person. Whether you’re successful or not, you’re still the girl I love and the one I want to grow old with. And on Saturday I will hug you, and comfort you more.’
'you know when we get married, in order to see the bride Joan will make you do all sorts of things first. Like 'earn' your right to see me like that.'
'NO NO NO I DONT WANT CARROTS NO NO CANNOT CANNOT CARROTS NOOOOO VEGGIES'
You looked almost as terrified as when you were riding the dragon junior roller coaster at Universal Studios. I did not expect any reaction, much less one so huge and adorable.
I’d like to brag that I was extremely surprised to recieve a text at midnight from my boyfriend in the army wishing me happy monthsary even though I know he slept at 1030. He woke up just to wish, yes. so special.
